Dave Morgenroth, OwnerI grew up in our family nursery and quickly became drawn to the trade, helping with tree planting in our fields and learning the quiet satisfaction that comes with working outdoors.
That early passion led me to the University of Illinois, where I earned my degree in Ornamental Horticulture. I returned to our family business and immersed myself in every facet from plant production and retail garden center sales, to the craft of landscape design and installation.
In 1996, I became a territory sales representative for an innovative wholesale nursery grower in downstate Illinois. This experience gave me valuable insight and familiarity with new plant introductions that perform well in Midwest landscapes.
For me, this work has always been about the art of the yard—taking an outdoor space and transforming it into a refined, relaxing retreat.
